Maggie

So this is Maggie...she is a Harlequin Great Dane (and no she is not part Dalmation!!!) At this time in my life she is my only child...and quite frankly she likes it that way. It's sad to say but she is super spoiled and pretty much gets to run the house. LOL. As you can tell she is sitting on the couch in the picture above...she absolutely loves doing this and she loves sleeping with me as well. We (Maggie and I) got a kitten in December and since then the dog has been a brat. I can't hardly stand her...so I decided to get rid of the kitten and now Maggie is exactly like she was before we even had a kitten...she is an angel again!!! So with that being said it has been confirmed that she cannot live with other animals AND be a good dog...she is an only child.

Sushi

So Saturday I tried Sushi for the first time. I never thought in my life this is something I would eat. First reason being that I don't like seafood...pretty good reason. Second being I am a picky eater especially when it comes to the texture of food...and sushi being raw and all....pretty good reason. But I did in fact eat Sushi for the first time last night, so good quote to live by would be "never say never"! So how did I happen upon this new adventure of my life? Well my good friend Tyson convinced me that it would be a great idea. So we setup a time and place. We went to Shige on 8th and Main in Boise. The beginning of this adventure started out good. First thing Tyson did was explain to me the different kinds of Sushi and asked me what kind of fish I liked. Second thing he did was try and teach me how to use chop sticks...let me tell you this to was quite the experience ( I actually never got it down and ended up eating with a fork half way thru). Third we order our sushi (of course Tyson did the ordering) and we also order some fried chicken that they serve there. So one thing you should know about Tyson is he actually lived in Japan for 2yrs teaching English. So he pretty much knows what genuine Sushi should taste like, he also knows all the appropriate Japanese manners. The experience over all was good and I would try it again. The best part about the whole dinner was I got to catch up with my good friend and overall just have a wonderful time!

Beginner

Hey Everyone! So I thought that I would join the world of blogging...but I'm a little confused on how it all works. I may need some pointers! I guess I was inspired to start a blog by a number of people...1st Marisa Pugmire, she blogs all the time and her blog always looks super cute. Plus I get to find out what is going on in her life and with her family. 2nd I was inspired by Livi Osborne who always has the most comical blogs (mine will never compare to hers). 3rd Cindy Bigelow has recently come back to the blogger world so she can share with family and friends what is going on in her life. 4th I figured this would be a good way for me to start some sort of journal and share it with others.
